Ever since the arrival of head coach Mike McDaniel, the Miami Dolphins have been a completely different football team as the young head coach has been a game-changer for the storied franchise and has helped turn their offense into one of the best in the league.
Last season, the Dolphins played at a high level once again, winning 11 games and punching their ticket to the NFL playoffs, but they fell short in the postseason.
Even though the Dolphins were one of the best teams in the league throughout the regular season, Miami always seemed to struggle against the best teams on their schedule, which led some to believe this team simply benefited from a weak schedule.
Chris Broussard of FOX Sports points the finger at star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who he believes has yet to prove he can play against good teams in the league, via “First Things First.”
“Tua has yet to prove he can play well against good teams,” Broussard said.

Broussard does have a point, and it will likely be put to the test during the 2024 NFL season, as Tagovailoa will have to prove his worth, especially if he signs a massive contract extension before taking another snap with the Dolphins.
It’ll be interesting to see if Miami can live up to expectations next season and take another step forward with Tagovailoa as the team’s undisputed leader under center.
Things could get a bit tougher next season in the AFC East division, with Aaron Rodgers returning to the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills being the team to beat in the division once again.
