To say that the Jacksonville Jaguars have been a struggling franchise would be an understatement.
The Jaguars have been bottom-feeders more often than not.
As a matter of fact, they have never had an MVP winner in franchise history.
Considering that, plenty of people believed NFL reporter Dov Kleiman when he stated that the Jaguars have never had a player receive a single MVP vote.
That’s why former running back Maurice Jones-Drew took to Twitter to clap back at him and set the record straight, reminding him that he was actually an MVP finalist twice in his career.
I was a finalist twice bro!!!! https://t.co/1VmpilrdPm

There was a time when he was one of the best running backs in the game, being named to one All-Pro team and three Pro Bowl selections.
Overall, he logged 1,847 carries for 8,167 yards, 346 catches for 2,944 yards, and scored 79 touchdowns with the Jaguars and Las Vegas Raiders before pursuing a career as an analyst for FOX Sports.
Whatever the case, we should give props to one of the most underrated running backs of his generation.
Perhaps, he would’ve gotten the nod if he had played for a different organization.
