Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ past few years with the Buffalo Bills were a bit of a roller coaster, and that ride finally shut down a few weeks ago as the team traded him to the Houston Texans.
There was a lot of smoke about Diggs not being happy in Buffalo over a lack of targets and over a reportedly dissolving relationship with quarterback Josh Allen, and Shannon Sharpe had a clear message for him in the recent episode of Nightcap.
Sharpe said that Diggs needs to embrace his new situation and put Buffalo behind him, saying “just be at peace, you got a young quarterback, you got an excellent team around you, just go in there and be Stefon Diggs.”

This trade came out of nowhere, yet wasn’t surprising given all the whispers of Diggs being unhappy.
He now has the reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year throwing him the ball and will form one of the league’s most explosive WR trios with Nico Collins and Tank Dell.
Diggs is coming off his worst season in Buffalo with 107 catches for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns and is now in a contract year after the Texans restructured his deal, so he has every incentive to put up a big year.
Buffalo is likely going to have to fill his void in the draft, as the only move the Bills made in free agency to help the wide receiver corps was the signing of Curtis Samuel, who is now the de facto No. 1 WR alongside Khalil Shakir.
