The 2024 NFL Draft is just weeks away and teams like the Minnesota Vikings are beginning to finalize their boards in what is expected to be one of the best offensive classes in recent memory.
The draft is littered with quality wide receiver and offensive tackle prospects, but the quarterback group has several talents that could start immediately and help teams win games.
Minnesota will be a team to watch out for when it comes to the quarterbacks because they’re in desperate need of a new starter after Kirk Cousins walked in free agency to the Atlanta Falcons.
The Vikings signed Sam Darnold to be their presumptive starter, but he’s not the long-term answer at the position given his struggles in recent years.
The most likely route is Minnesota picks one from the crop of signal callers, though which one remains to be seen.
The Vikings are armed with two first-round picks and appear motivated to use both to try and move up in the draft via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
“The #Vikings are trying to “preserve” the No. 23 pick in trade talks to move up for a QB,” Fowler reported.

Minnesota signaled their intent to move up when they landed a deal to acquire No. 23 overall pick from the Houston Texans.
While the Vikings could stand pat and select a prospect at No. 11 overall, they could continue to be aggressive and package 11 and 23 to move up in the top-10 where players like Jayden Daniels and J.J. McCarthy could be available.
It’ll be interesting to see if any of those teams will bite on an offer from Minnesota if the right player falls.
