It’s an exciting time to be an Atlanta Falcons fan as the team made several important changes in the offseason that have them looking like they’ll get back on track in 2024.
The Falcons made the wise decision to hire former Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris as their new head coach, a full-circle moment for him because he previously served as their interim head coach years ago.
Morris inherits an offense full of young talent like Drake London, Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts, three dynamic players at their respective positions.
However, the biggest move the franchise made was committing to Kirk Cousins who signed a massive four-year deal in free agency.
Despite coming off an Achilles tear, Cousins was the most sought-after free agent quarterback and Atlanta made sure they got him with a contract he couldn’t turn down.
While Cousins hasn’t played a snap for the Falcons just yet, he already seems to be settling in nicely in his new home state of Georgia as he was present to watch the Masters Tournament in Augusta via NBC Sports.

The Masters Tournament is the biggest gold event of the year and numerous celebrities and athletes travel to Augusta to watch it unfold.
Cousins may have some doubters when it comes to his fit in Atlanta because of his injury, but at his best, he’s a great passer who has a knack for making plays downfield.
Assuming he’s fully healthy for the 2024 NFL season, the Falcons could be a sneaky team to watch out for come the playoffs.
