New Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh may be fresh off a National Championship with Michigan and have a lot of great things to look forward to as he is now back on an NFL sideline, but that doesn’t mean he will forget everything that has happened to him in the past.
Heading into the NFL Draft, one analyst has given us a heads-up about a particular grudge that could affect the top of the draft order.
Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio said recently that when it comes to the possibility of trading up to the No. 5 pick in the draft, he doesn’t expect Harbaugh to do the Minnesota Vikings any favors because they passed on him in 2022, saying “hell no, that’s the problem for the Vikings.”
Per Mike Florio of @ProFootballTalk, he doesn’t expect Jim Harbaugh and the #Chargers to do the #Vikings any favors with trading up given they passed on Harbaugh in 2022

Florio detailed how Harbaugh thought he had the Vikings’ head coaching job wrapped up in 2022 and had already packed up his office and left, only to then find out he did not get the job.
The Chargers are seen as one of the most likely teams to trade down given the fact that they have no need for a quarterback with Justin Herbert locked down long-term, and the Vikings are one of the most QB-needy franchises after losing Kirk Cousins in free agency.
We have had plenty of smokescreens and rumors this draft season, but this is one of the first feuds.
It’s entirely possible Harbaugh would go out of his way to avoid helping the team that once spurned him, especially when there will likely be other teams looking to trade up as well.
