Over the past several years, the NFL Draft has provided many high-level playmakers, especially skill-position players.
Due to the increasingly competitive nature of college football, more and more athletes are seemingly NFL-ready the second they step on the gridiron.
This has led to a heightened focus on skill-position players in the early rounds of the draft, allowing teams to get younger at the wide receiver, running back, and tight end positions without sacrificing a large sum of money.
Given the number of talented players at the position, wide receivers have certainly been the focus in recent seasons, but tight ends are also starting to gain more traction.
Kyle Pitts was taken as the highest-drafted tight end in league history a few seasons ago, and with players such as Sam LaPorta and Luke Musgrave panning out in their rookie seasons, it wouldn’t be surprising to see more tight ends taken early in the draft moving forward.
Brock Bowers is likely going to be a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, and he is already drawing comparisons to elite tight ends who are already in the league.
The NFL Network recently put out a Twitter graphic comparing Bowers’ measurements to George Kittle, indicating he could have a similar impact on the team to draft him.

Bowers has been a highly touted prospect for the past several years.
He was a dominant pass-catcher and blocker at the University of Georgia, and if teams believe he can keep that up at the highest level, he could be selected within the first 10 picks in the upcoming draft.
