The NFL Draft is just a handful of days away, and the teams cannot wait to get their hands on their new franchise stars.
Until today, most of the talk has revolved around Caleb Williams, and rightfully so.
But as much as Williams figures to be the next big thing to enter the league, Jayden Daniels isn’t that far behind him.
If anything, some believe he’s also got the making of a superstar and could be even better than Williams.
Notably, that list of people includes former NFL GM Scott Pioli.
Talking on the NFL Network, Pioli raved about Daniels not only because of his talent but also because of his approach to the game and work ethic.
Why is @LSUfootball QB Jayden Daniels the most coveted player for teams interested in moving up in the #NFLDraft ?#NFL #NFLDraft2024 @NFLDraft @LSUsports @JayD__5 pic.twitter.com/ULjWOueVl5

He revealed that he had served as a consultant at LSU, so he got to work closely with him for the past two years, and he was left impressed by the way he prepared for every single game.
It takes more than just talent to succeed in the NFL.
Besides being put in a position to succeed, the players also need to be absolutely obsessed with their craft and their preparation, especially quarterbacks, and Daniels has that trait.
Daniels was one of the most electric players to watch in all of college football last season, and he could make an immediate impact if put in Kliff Kingsbury’s offense.
But even if he doesn’t find much success early in his career, he’s the kind of relentless worker who’s going to arrive first and leave last to be the best player he can possibly be.
