The Washington Commanders have a massive decision ahead of them.
They currently hold the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, a position that could allow them to draft their quarterback of the future.
A solid, consistent quarterback is paramount in the NFL, especially in how the game is played today.
The Commanders have lacked consistency in this position for several years, which has prevented them from making a substantial playoff run in recent history.
That could all change with the right player in this draft, but who that will be remains to be seen.
Many analysts believe the Commanders’ choice is between Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye, two players that analysts are torn on.
Bucky Brooks recently appeared on the NFL Network, talking about his choice between Maye and Daniels.
“Jayden Daniels is a better fit for Kliff Kingsbury’s scheme,” Brooks said.

Brooks indicated that Kyler Murray had a lot of success with Kliff Kingsbury in Arizona during his rookie year, a trend that could continue in Washington should the team draft Daniels.
Daniels is viewed as a prospect similar to Murray or Lamar Jackson, as he presents a high upside with his rushing abilities and can also get it done as a passer.
It will be interesting to see who the Commanders draft and, if it is Daniels, whether he will have as much success as Brooks believes he can.
The Commanders have several young receivers looking to take the next step, and Daniels might just be able to help them do so.
