Once again, the New York Jets look like one of the biggest winners of the offseason.
They’ve added talent and depth and addressed some of their most glaring issues, and they could still add another elite prospect to their already impressive roster.
They’ve met with Georgia TE Brock Bowers and have been projected to take him at No. 10 for most of the draft process.
Nonetheless, NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah recently revealed that it wouldn’t be shocking to see them trading up a couple of spots to get their hands on Washington WR Rome Udonze (Via Paul Andrew Esden Jr).

Jeremiah reported that should Udonze fall to No. 8, the Jets could flip first-round picks with the Atlanta Falcons, leapfrogging the Chicago Bears at No. 9 to make sure they get the star wide receiver prospect.
They wouldn’t have to give up much to get one of the best wide receiver prospects in the game, so this makes sense.
While Marvin Harrison Jr. and Malik Nabers have stolen most of the spotlight and the headlines, and rightfully so, Udonze doesn’t seem to be so far behind.
He’s one of the most physical prospects we’ve seen in a while, and he’s great at picking up yards after the catch and dominating on 50/50 throws.
Udonze was Washington’s top weapon in the passing game, helping Michael Penix Jr. become one of the most proficient passers in the nation.
Now, he could be looking at catching the rock from one of the greatest quarterbacks this game has ever seen.
