It’s crazy to see that Bill Belichick won’t be coaching any NFL team next season.
There was plenty to love about hiring Belichick as their next head coach, but there was also plenty not to like.
Whatever the case, a recent report by ESPN revealed that New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft went out of his way to sabotage his candidacy for the Atlanta Falcons.
It also revealed Belichick’s preferred potential destinations should he come back to the league.
There, they showed three NFC teams — the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles — as the teams he would like to coach.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Craig Carton predicted Belichick would become the next coach of the Giants.

In the latest edition of his show, he argued that Brian Daboll wasn’t only the likeliest candidate to lose his job but also the fact that Belichick, who served as a consultant for them, is close to the Giants in terms of a relationship.
Whatever the case, hiring Belichick clearly comes with some major risks.
While he reportedly told the Falcons that he only wanted to coach and was willing to work as a team with decision-makers, he’s always been known for running a military-style ship, and his coaching style often rubs people and players the wrong way.
More than that, he’s only looking to get past Don Shula on the all-time winning list, and that should take him just a couple of seasons.
He’s not getting any younger, so he could look to retire shortly after that, leaving whichever team gets him right back to the same spot.
