The New York Jets addressed most of their needs earlier in the offseason.
Nonetheless, as much as adding Tyron Smith should be a huge boost for their ever-struggling offensive line, there are also some concerns about his durability at this point in his career.
That’s why ESPN analyst — and well-known Jets fan — Mike Greenberg believes the team shouldn’t hesitate to add another offensive lineman with that No. 10 pick.
Former NFL QB EJ Manuel, however, feels otherwise.
In his recent appearance on Get Up, Manuel claimed that the Jets’ best chance to win a Super Bowl right now would be to take Brock Bowers at No. 10.

Manuel believes the Jets can always address their need for protection later in the draft, whereas Bowers is an elite talent.
Both have valid points there.
Bowers has been the top tight-end prospect in the nation for two years now, and he’s a polished route-runner who could wreak havoc downfield with Aaron Rodgers feeding him early and often.
It’s also a fact that no one, not even the great Aaron Rodgers, can operate behind a shaky offensive line.
At times, however, teams need to go with the best player available and then figure things out later in the draft with their remaining selections.
If not, teams can always try to pull off a trade later in the offseason or in the season, but it’s not so usual to see an elite prospect being up for grabs when a Super Bowl-hopeful team is on the clock.
