After an incredibly successful NFL playing career, future Hall of Famer and arguably the greatest quarterback to ever play the game Tom Brady decided to call it a career after playing his final years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Although Brady was still able to play at a high level in his mid-40s and was getting interest around the league, he thought it was the right time to walk away and made it clear that he wouldn’t change his mind despite interest from the Las Vegas Raiders.
However, Brady recently made a shocking statement that if the right opportunity presented itself with the Raiders, New England Patriots, or San Francisco 49ers, he’d take the call and potentially return to the NFL.
This made headlines in the NFL for obvious reasons, especially considering that Brady seemed content with retirement and is on the verge of purchasing an ownership stake in the Raiders.
Former NFL MVP Cam Newton believes Brady has no intention of unretiring and called him out for what he thinks is obvious “clickbait,” via “4thand1show” on Twitter.
“Do I think he will come back? F*** no! He knows that,” Newton said.

Newton isn’t wrong, as anything Brady says these days makes headlines, especially when discussing the prospect of returning to play in the NFL in an attempt to win an eighth Super Bowl title.
However, Brady has made bold decisions before, as he left the Patriots for the Buccaneers, which is something no one thought was possible, so he can’t be written off entirely, even though it does seem like a blatant lie.
