The Denver Broncos have cleaned house this offseason as they have ushered in a full rebuild, cutting quarterback Russell Wilson and trading wide receiver Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns as they look to revamp this offense and make it more explosive and dynamic.
Other franchise stalwarts like Lloyd Cushenberry and Justin Simmons have hit free agency as well, and reportedly there could be another big name on his way out of Denver.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the Broncos have received multiple trade calls on receiver Courtland Sutton, although the team does not intend to trade him even though he is skipping voluntary workouts due to his contract.

Sutton is coming off a solid year alongside Wilson, as he put up 772 yards and a career-high ten touchdowns in one of the league’s most lackluster offenses.
He has two years left on the four-year, $60.8 million extension he signed in 2021 and is the only skill position player on offense who has been in Denver long-term.
Josh Reynolds was signed this offseason to replace Jeudy, and outside of him and Sutton, the Broncos WR room consists of Marvin Mims Jr., Tim Patrick, Lil’Jordan Humphrey, Brandon Johnson, and Phillip Dorsett.
With quarterback being such an obvious need in the upcoming draft, it would make sense to keep the most reliable weapon on the team, as dealing Sutton would be setting any rookie QB up to fail.
Keep an eye out as this story unfolds, whether it be a contract restructuring or a trade.
