The Dallas Cowboys have a long history of success.
Unfortunately for them, that’s all it’s been for almost three decades now: History.
Some fans have blamed their quarterback situation for that, as they haven’t found someone who could lead them back to the mountaintop since Troy Aikman.
And while Aikman wasn’t the best quarterback in the game in his heyday by any means, he was a proven winner and a guy who stepped up big-time when his team needed him the most.
Recently, a picture surfaced of Tony Romo and Dak Prescott joining him at the Children’s Cancer Fund’s “A Knight to Remember” Gala Friday night in Dallas, as shared by Cowboys insider Jon Machota on Twitter.

That’s three generations of Cowboys quarterbacks there, and a picture that definitely fueled some debates and nostalgia among the fan base.
Romo had his fair share of great games during his playing days, but he fell short of the goal over and over, and the same seems to be the case with Prescott.
Notably, however, Dak might not replicate what his predecessors did by playing for a single franchise throughout their entire careers.
Jerry Jones seems to be playing mind games with him regarding a contract extension, and Prescott could now become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
