The Denver Broncos have a lot of moving pieces ahead of the 2024 NFL Season.
After moving on from Russell Wilson, the team is in desperate need of a new starting quarterback.
One might assume that the Broncos will take the best QB available in the draft, but Benjamin Allbright’s recent report might indicate otherwise.
As Allbright said in response to a tweet, “I heard a rumor a couple weeks ago that they were eyeballing tackles.”

This year’s draft is said to be loaded with quarterback talent, but there are also several offensive linemen that are in high regard.
With this in mind, the Broncos will need to decide which position is more important to them.
Having a solid offensive line is certainly important, but if a team doesn’t have a consistent quarterback, it doesn’t matter how good their line is.
This puts the front office in a tough spot as it pertains to the draft.
They only have a few more days to make their decision, one that has the potential to change their franchise for the course of the next several years.
With the Broncos struggling over the past few seasons, they might need some drastic changes to get themselves into a favorable position.
Sean Payton alone hasn’t been a needle-mover, and the addition of Wilson didn’t seem to make a massive change either.
The draft always tends to provide a lot of excitement and drama, and while there are other unknown moves that’ll take place over the next few days, the Broncos could have a lot of eyes on them.
