For several years, Caleb Williams has been viewed as one of the best prospects in the 2024 NFL Draft class.
Many anticipate that he will make an instant impact on the team that drafts him.
While this has been a known fact to most fans, Brian Baldinger recently appeared on NFL Total Access, where he provided a rundown about Williams’ talent, and what he can bring to an NFL offense.
“He knows where to go with the football, he knows how to read defenses,” Baldinger said.
He added, “He has excellent speed of decision making and when things do break down, he can create offense with a live and accurate arm.”

Baldinger believes that Williams is a multi-faceted player.
In his eyes, Williams is much more than a talented player with a big arm.
He recognizes when he is in trouble, and his scrambling abilities are another positive about his game, an attribute that is nearly essential in today’s game.
The quarterback position is evolving in the NFL, and more and more collegiate players are starting to mold their game toward this style and level of play.
It also helps that defenses are catching onto this earlier, which gives collegiate quarterbacks better competition before they get to the pro level.
It will be interesting to see if Williams will truly break into the scene in his rookie year, as many anticipate.
Will his rookie season be impactful like C.J. Stroud’s, or will it more closely resemble Trevor Lawrence and his rookie year struggles from Jacksonville?
