The Las Vegas Raiders finished last season on a high note, but they still have plenty of work to do.
They have two contending teams in the same division, and they don’t want to get caught behind in the race for the AFC West.
That’s why new GM Tom Telesco acknowledges that they could use some help all over the roster (via Around the NFL).
“We could use a little bit of help everywhere,” Telesco said. “I don’t think any position is precluded from being drafted this year.”

This will be the third time in four years that the Raiders will have a new GM calling the shots in the draft, and they haven’t exactly found much success lately, either because of poor performances or because of the players’ character and off-field issues.
The Raiders will be on the clock at No. 13, and the most glaring need is at the quarterback position.
They moved on from Jimmy Garoppolo and will now have Gardner Minshew behind center.
And while Minshew is one of the best backups in the league, he’s proven that he’s not cut out to be a starter.
However, their options are rather limited in that spot.
Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, and J.J. McCarthy will all likely be off the board by then, and perhaps even Bo Nix.
They could take a flier with Michael Penix Jr., who has the most arm talent around this year’s prospects, but who’s also had plenty of issues with injuries throughout the course of his college career.
Then again, they could also go with a “best player available” approach if they’re not sold on whoever they can get there.
