The Houston Astros might be the most-hated team in baseball.
But, it is hard to not respect what they do in October.
Even after the cheating scandal in 2017, the Astros have continued to be one of the most successful postseason teams.
That seems to be the case once again this year.
Houston has a 2-1 lead over the Minnesota Twins in the ALDS.
They are one win away from advancing to their seventh straight ALCS.
It is hard to sustain that level of success, but it helps when you have one of the best rosters in the sport.
One player who continues to dominate the playoffs is Yordan Alvarez.
According to Chandler Rome, Alvarez has an OPS of 2.205 in the ALDS.

He has terrorized the Twins, and they seemingly have no answer for him.
In three games, Alvarez is hitting .500 with four home runs and six RBI.
He also has an OBP of .538 and a slugging percentage of 1.667.
What Alvarez is doing at the plate is otherworldly, and he will be a significant reason why they advance if they take the series.
Many people want to talk about playoff experience playing a factor in October.
If that is the case no team has more experience than the Astros.
It will be interesting to see if any team can slow down Alvarez and the Astros offense.
That is going to be what it takes to defeat them in a seven-game series.
Houston may not be the most-liked team in baseball but it is hard to argue with their results.
