All kinds of rumors and reports about draft prospects can fly in from out of nowhere right around the start of the NFL Draft.
On the eve of the NFL Draft, ESPN analyst and former Super Bowl champion Ryan Clark had this to say on Get Up about a particular narrative surrounding potential No. 1 pick Caleb Williams.
“We’ve been trying to make this kid immature…He was so self-aware…I think we’ve built this narrative up about him that he isn’t the sort of person that can fit in with professional football players. I believe that’s absolutely wrong,” Clark said Wednesday morning.

All kinds of narratives are created about players during their college careers and during the pre-draft process.
The sad part is that nobody knows if any of that stuff is actually true.
Most of those inaccuracies and reports could just be smokescreens sent out by other teams interested in selecting Williams on Thursday night.
For Williams specifically, anyone out there saying that he can’t lead a locker room or he can’t turn around a franchise, just sit back and watch him.
That franchise could very well be the Chicago Bears.
After all, he helped inject life back into a once-storied program in USC after winning the Heisman Trophy and becoming a unanimous All-American.
He threw 72 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions in his final two years playing for Lincoln Riley.
With his clear abilities and the fact that he hasn’t ever gotten into any trouble while playing football in the spotlight, that should excite all fans and pundits.
