It’s time for New York Giants fans to stand up and get excited.
One of the more exciting positions to draft in the NFL is wide receiver.
More specifically, a first-round wide receiver.
That is what the New York Giants could be interested in doing.
According to LSU head coach Brian Kelly on The Rich Eisen Show, the Giants, who are picking at No. 6, really like All-American receiver Malik Nabers.
“If he makes it past 6, I’d be very surprised…I know New York really likes him,” Kelly said Thursday.

This seems like the best possible move that head coach Brian Daboll could make regardless of what is happening at quarterback.
This offseason, the team did lose some depth at receiver as veteran Sterling Shepard’s Giants career came to a close.
Also, Parris Campbell left to join the rival Eagles.
The offseason before, the team lost veteran role player and receiver Richie James, who would go on to win a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.
The team needs some real help at receiver.
Drafting Nabers would be an incredible move.
An All-SEC performer in 2023, Nabers caught 89 passes for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns.
He can be a No. 1 receiver almost instantly if given the opportunity to be that.
With the loss of their best player in Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley, the Giants need to find some more playmakers to become at least somewhat formidable offensively.
If they are intending to stay with quarterback Daniel Jones for at least one more year, they need to get him some help.
