The Dallas Cowboys have had an uneventful NFL offseason thus far after famously flaming out in the NFL playoffs by losing to the upstart Green Bay Packers in the first round at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
With the Cowboys getting crushed by Jordan Love and company in the first round, the consensus seemed to be that Dallas would make some drastic moves during the offseason in order to right the ship and take advantage of what could be a championship window.
However, the team chose not to change head coaches nor make a major decision on Dak Prescott’s future with the team, as Jerry Jones and the front office have been adamant about saving money to pay their three best players: Prescott, Micah Parsons, and CeeDee Lamb.
While the team is focused on securing the futures of its best players rather than bringing in new talent, it has still made some moves during this offseason, including recently signing veteran linebacker Damien Wilson, according to Todd Archer of ESPN.
The Cowboys have agreed to terms with veteran LB Damien Wilson, who ended last year on the active roster but did not play in a game, per a source. More depth at the position.

After spending the first four years in the NFL with the Cowboys, Wilson bounced around the league a bit before agreeing to terms in order to return to Dallas.
Wilson has played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers before agreeing to return to the Cowboys.
The best season for Wilson arguably took place with the Jaguars during the 2021 NFL season, where he played in all 17 games, recording 3.0 sacks, 59 solo tackles, one interception, one forced fumble, and five passes defensed.
