The Los Angeles Dodgers were swept in the National League Division Series by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw was responsible for one of the three losses in the series.
Starting Game 1, the southpaw could only get one out and surrendered a whopping six runs on six hits and a walk.
You could say that the Dodgers never recovered from that.
Now scheduled to hit free agency, the left-hander discussed his future, but didn’t really reveal much.
“Clayton Kershaw on his future: ‘I’m not sure. I don’t know how to answer that right now,’” Dodgers insider Fabian Ardaya tweeted.

Kershaw is 35, with a bad back and shoulder.
He has accomplished everything there is to accomplish: multiple Cy Young awards, an MVP award in 2014, a World Series ring in 2020, and a 2.48 regular-season ERA, with 210 wins.
The only statistical milestone at reach that one could say he will clear in 2024 if he extends his career and remains healthy are 3,000 strikeouts, as he is currently at 2,944.
Kershaw will have a place in Cooperstown regardless of what he decides to do.
His hypothetical return will likely hinge on how healthy he feels when it’s time to negotiate a contract.
The Dodgers have given him two consecutive one-year pacts to minimize risk, and he has gotten hurt in each of the last two seasons.
Still, he is still a top starter when healthy.
Will the Dodgers try to convince him to return one more year?
Or will he wrap up a marvelous career after his disappointing 2023 playoff showing?
