The Baltimore Ravens had another crushing playoff loss last season.
With the AFC Championship Game on their home field, the team fell to the eventual Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs.
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta was on “Mad Dog Sports Radio” Thursday with host Adam Schein to chat about the loss.
“We didn’t play our best football. That hurts…It’s a scar for us. It’s a memory. It’s a lesson. It’s something that we have to overcome. I think we’re prepared to do that,” DeCosta said.

The Ravens have been one of the best regular-season teams in the NFL since the turn of the century.
They’ve made 15 playoff appearances in the last 24 seasons, won the AFC North three times in the last six years, and they’ve won multiple Super Bowls.
Presently, they have one of the best rosters in football.
With two-time MVP signal-caller Lamar Jackson under center and great defensive players such as All-Pro linebacker Roquan Smith and All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton, the Ravens have some fantastic pieces.
But like the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC, Baltimore is still searching for a way to overcome a team like the Chiefs in the biggest moment of the season.
They have the right head coach in John Harbaugh and some really great players in the fold.
2024 should be another quality year for DeCosta’s team.
They should win the division after winning another 11 or 12 games.
It will all come down to them winning in the playoffs.
If they end up doing that, they will be remembered forever.
