Quick transformations are possible in the NFL.
A perfect storm of draft picks, intelligent coaching, and luck from the injury bug can propel a team to a potential playoff run.
There is no shortage of surprises two weeks into the 2023 NFL season.
That said, former NFL player and current analyst Ross Tucker is impressed with how the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have performed after two games.
“I thought they were going to be one of the five worst teams in the NFL…they’re actually pretty good,” Tucker said about the Buccaneers during his Ross Report podcast.

The football world wrote off the Buccaneers after Tom Brady’s second (and permanent) retirement.
However, they have proven their doubters wrong after a 2-0 start.
They defeated the Minnesota Vikings on the road during opening weekend, thanks to two touchdown passes by Baker Mayfield.
A week later, the Buccaneers defeated the Chicago Bears, 27-17, as Mike Evans had six catches for 171 yards and a touchdown.
Tampa Bay’s defense had ten quarterback hits and six sacks on Justin Fields.
They also have three interceptions and two fumble recoveries in Weeks 1 and 2.
However, a showdown with the reigning NFC Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles, awaits the Buccaneers in Week 3.
Like the Buccaneers, they have also won their first two games.
No one would doubt the Bucs anymore if they go to 3-0 after that game.
