One of the more underrated NFL moves this offseason was the Cleveland Browns trading for former Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
The former first-round pick showed flashes but was never his best self in Denver.
Cleveland is hoping Jeudy can be what he was while at Alabama.
Browns GM Andrew Berry appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” Friday to chat about why they made the trade.
“When Jerry (Jeudy) was available, we felt like we could add a player that was a top-notch separator in this league…He really kind of fit the profile and skill-set that we really wanted in our offense,” Berry said.

Again, it is no secret that Jeudy wasn’t at his best with the Broncos.
In four seasons at Mile High, he only had one season with over 900 receiving yards and never recorded over 70 receptions in a season.
Part of that has to do with very suspect quarterback play over the years.
But in the end, perhaps Jeudy just needed a new scene.
Luckily for him, he gets to now go play on a playoff team and be a significant contributor.
This could very well be one of the most talented Browns offenses in the history of the franchise.
There are Pro-Bowlers all over the field with Deshaun Watson, now fully healthy, Nick Chubb, who is hoping to be healthy in 2024, veteran Amari Cooper, and tight end David Njoku.
Adding a talented, former All-American, who is just 25 years of age was a brilliant move by Berry.
