One of the NFL’s best backup quarterbacks switched teams this offseason.
Veteran Jameis Winston left the New Orleans Saints for the Cleveland Browns.
The former Pro-Bowler joined “Up & Adams” live at the Kentucky Derby to chat about what he brings to Cleveland.
“Perspective…Everyone brings something to the table that we can work with in that quarterback room,” Winston said Friday.

It is Deshaun Watson’s show in Cleveland.
The three-time Pro-Bowler should hopefully be healthy going into 2024, which means that Winston and former Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley will be the backups.
Winston brings almost 10 years of NFL experience and will bring plenty of expertise to that quarterback room.
The former Heisman Trophy winner and national champion at Florida State got humbled in the NFL early on.
After starting for five seasons in Tampa Bay, he joined the Saints as a backup quarterback for four years.
At the NFL level, he is best known for throwing 33 touchdowns, a whopping 30 interceptions, and a league-leading 5,109 yards in 2019.
It is safe to say that he is on track to be a backup for the rest of his career.
But in Cleveland, the addition of he and Huntley have made that particular quarterback room arguably the best in the league.
If Watson was to get hurt again, Browns fans should feel comfortable knowing that they have somebody with actual experience once again.
They had that with Joe Flacco last year, and he took the Browns to the playoffs.
Time will tell to see if he will ever need to take the field.
