Can Dak Prescott lead the Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl?
That has been the ultimate question fans in Texas have been asking for a long, long time.
Well, the Cowboys’ front office still feels like he is the guy moving forward.
Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones appeared on Mad Dog Sports Radio Monday to chat with host Adam Schein about Prescott being the right guy to lead Dallas to a championship.
“Absolutely. I totally think Dak can lead us to a championship. He does everything the right way. He’s certainly the leader of this football team,” Jones said.

There’s no question that Prescott is a good quarterback.
But that’s just it.
He’s not great or bad.
He’s good.
The former Mississippi State Bulldog has made three Pro Bowls and is coming off of his best statistical season.
He set career-highs in passer rating and completions en route to helping Dallas win the NFC East in 2023.
Unfortunately, Prescott and the Cowboys were eliminated by the Packers at home in the wildcard round 48-32.
The thing with the veteran quarterback is that he is a very good regular season quarterback.
He has a career regular season record of 73-41 and has helped Dallas win four division titles.
However, he is just 2-5 in the playoffs with a 64.5% completion rate and a 14-7 touchdowns-interception ratio.
That isn’t good enough, especially while playing for Jerry Jones and the Cowboys.
If Jones and Mike McCarthy believe in Prescott, that belief is slowly starting to disappear, even if they say otherwise.
