On Sunday, Netflix put on an unprecedented live celebrity roast of NFL legend Tom Brady, who is arguably the greatest player and quarterback of league history.
Brady seems like he is finally settling into retirement and was all for having some of his peers, former teammates, and coaches on stage at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
Although this was a risky move by Brady, with many of these roasters coming in with a lot of material, he was a good sport and let everyone say their piece, from Drew Bledsoe to Randy Moss to Rob Gronkowski and even former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
With a lot of controversy surrounding Belichick as of late because of the Patriots documentary and his getting fired after 24 seasons, he was a surprise guest, with many believing he’d want no part of this roast.
However, Belichick embraced being the villain and had a night to remember as he dished out shots while also taking them all night long, which convinced Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports that he was the big winner of the roast via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“I thought the big winner last night on the [Tom] Brady roast was Bill Belichick,” Cowherd said.

Although Belichick was great on the roast, his NFL future still remains in doubt as he was unable to secure another head coaching job in the league after being fired by the Patriots.
Belichick will have to wait for an opening during the 2024 NFL season or until after the upcoming season to get another job in the league.
