There was a time when Antonio Brown was one of the most respected players in the NFL.
His days with the Pittsburgh Steelers will go down as some of the best in franchise history, but absolutely everything that transpired ever since has been rather questionable.
However, despite his actions, Brown still won’t be held accountable.
In a recent interview with Jason Whitlock, the former Steeler claimed that he didn’t succeed with the New England Patriots because the NFL didn’t want him to win with Tom Brady.

He recalled how he was only able to play one game with Bill Belichick’s team, stating that the league didn’t want players to make smart business decisions for themselves.
In reality, Brown had to be let go because of some delicate accusations.
Brady, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the NFL gave him yet another chance shortly after, and he even went on to win a Super Bowl, so his conspiracy theory becomes even more baseless.
Brown has been on the wrong side of many controversies, and his erratic behavior and unapologetic nature have made him burn every single bridge he’s crossed ever since he left Pittsburgh.
At the end of the day, he made his own bed, and the NFL’s powerful hand had absolutely nothing to do with that.
Everybody would’ve loved to have a player of his caliber on their roster; he just made it impossible for teams to trust him.
