The Green Bay Packers had an up-and-down season in 2023.
They got off to a good start but failed to close out games before hitting a wall mid-season.
Then, with a healthy Aaron Jones and Jordan Love taking a big leap, they closed out the year on a high note to make it all the way to the NFC Divisional Game.
Now, OC Adam Stenavich expects them to be even better in 2024.
Talking to the team’s official website, Stenavich shared his thoughts on the current state of the team, adding that they should fare much better next season now that they have more experience (via Around the NFL):
“Oh, it’s night and day,” offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich said. “Night and day because last year … you didn’t really know what direction you could go yet because you didn’t really know … how much can you put on these guys’ plates and allow them to go out and execute? Now, everyone has a year under their belt, so to speak. It’s been great to just know what these guys are good at.”

The Packers were the youngest team in the playoffs, so this makes perfect sense.
They weren’t expected or even supposed to get that far last season, and that was a credit to Matt LaFleur’s coaching and the front office’s great evaluation and scouting of young talent.
They have some promising players, and Love should only get better now that he’s had a full season as a starter under his belt.
The race for the top of the NFC North Division is going to be one for the ages, even if the Minnesota Vikings regress without Kirk Cousins.
We’ve already been what the Detroit Lions are capable of, and the Chicago Bears should be the most improved team in the league next season with the additions they’ve made in the offseason, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Packers build from last year’s success.
