The Carolina Panthers are one of the true rebuilding teams in the NFL right now.
As such, the roster is alway going to be in flux.
That is life in professional sports.
According to Around The NFL, Carolina has released seven players ahead of it’s rookie minicamp that will soon be taking place.

The seven players that Carolina released include running back Tarik Cohen, running back Spencer Brown, wide receiver Jalen Camp, tight end Chris Pierce, offensive lineman Ilm Manning, defensive tackle Raequan Williams, and defensive back AJ Parker.
The most notable name in this group has to be Tarik Cohen.
Most fans, specifically in Chicago, will remember him as a former All-Pro gadget player who was an elite playmaker on both offense and special teams.
In 2018, he became a Pro-Bowler and a First-team All-Pro after recording close to 1,200 scrimmage yards and leading the league in both punt returns (33) and punt return yardage (411).
Carolina is looking to make room on the roster for players that better fit the mold of what new head coach Dave Canales is trying to build in Carolina.
They haven’t been a truly dominant franchise since the year they went to the Super Bowl in 2015-16, which is when former quarterback Cam Newton won MVP and former head coach Ron Rivera won Coach of the Year.
Time will tell to see how fast the Panthers, more specifically Bryce Young, improve under Canales.
