The Atlanta Falcons got their quarterback of the present in four-time Pro-Bowler Kirk Cousins earlier this offseason.
They signed him to a massive four-year deal worth $180 million.
As ProFootballTalk notes, head coach Raheem Morris recently gave the Atlanta media an update on the health of Cousins, who is coming off a torn Achilles that he suffered in the middle of last season.
“Kirk is every day improving…He’s full-go in those types of things (offseason program activities)…We feel really good about where he’s at right now,” Morris said.

With Cousins approaching 100% full health as the NFL moves into the summer practice portion, the Falcons are starting to feel excited about the group that they have.
With great, young skill players all over the field, including 1,400-yard scrimmage back Bijan Robinson, Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Pitts, former first-round receiver Drake London, 1,000-yard receiver Darnell Mooney, and speedster Rondale Moore, this Atlanta offense is stacked.
Perhaps with Cousins’ health and Atlanta’s loaded arsenal of skill players, that makes the decision to draft prized Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. a little bit more agreeable.
But, not by much as that was still one of the more head-scratching moves of this year’s NFL Draft.
Regardless, with Cousins approaching full health, Raheem Morris has himself a team.
A team that is going to do more than compete in the NFC South.
