Steve Smith Sr. has taken over the internet due to his recent antics.
Before the Thursday Night Football matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos, Smith gave Jerry Jeudy criticism about his on-field play.
This video has since gone viral, as Smith did so on-air, where everyone could see and hear what he had to say.
Among Smith’s criticisms were a comment about Jeudy’s future, saying he would not recommend that any team trade for him.
In a recent installment of Shannon Sharpe’s show, “Nightcap,” Sharpe spoke with Chad Johnson about this situation.
Johnson started his response by calling Smith a “straight shooter.”
.@ShannonSharpe: “So you’re saying his critique of Jerry Jeudy is unfair?”@ochocinco: “The DELIVERY of the critique was unfair!”

Johnson believes that Smith calls it how he sees it, and that he doesn’t shy away from making comments on any given situation.
However, he also recognized what happened in this situation, and was not fond of how it played out.
“The delivery of the critique was unfair,” Johnson said.
He did not necessarily comment on the validity of Smith’s comments, but rather, talked about the candor in which he said them.
Members of the media are constantly monitored, especially a former player of Smith’s caliber.
Smith has faced backlash for these comments, as has Jeudy for the way he responded.
At the time of his comments, Smith was reporting for the NFL Network in their pregame coverage of this Thursday game.
This is a developing story with more updates to come in the coming days, especially since the NFL Network has not given any sort of statement.
