Bill Callahan is one of the most accomplished coaches across the NFL and has established himself as an offensive line savant.
Callahan joined the Tennessee Titans this offseason as the team’s offensive line coach to work with his son Brian, who is the new head coach in Tennessee, and he apparently brought one of his inventions to Nashville with him.
In a clip from Titans rookie minicamp, No. 7 overall pick JC Latham was seen hitting a unique-looking blocking sled that is reportedly Callahan’s friend named Bertha that weighs 380 pounds and only moves if it is hit at a very specific angle.
WILD… Legendary offensive line coach Bill Callahan created a special blocking sled called Bertha that is 380 pounds and it only moves if it is hit properly

Bertha is much lower to the ground than the typical blocking sled, and Latham could be seen toying around with it before finding the proper angle and driving it backward.
Fans have huge expectations for Latham, who was a surprising pick at No. 7 overall but was reportedly Callahan’s favorite player in the entire draft.
Latham is a massive 6’6″ and 342 pounds and will be tasked with being the savior for this franchise at left tackle, a position that has been a turnstile since Taylor Lewan last suited up a few years ago.
Tennessee had arguably the league’s worst left tackle situation last year and after not addressing the position in free agency, it was a slam dunk that the Titans would be taking a LT at the top of the draft board.
Latham and Bertha should be best friends by the end of the offseason.
