Wide receivers were all the rage in the 2024 NFL Draft, with 10 of the first 37 picks being WRs and so many landing in interesting spots that have fantasy owners salivating.
One rookie receiver is already turning heads in minicamp despite not being among those first 10 receivers off the board.
PFF shared a video on X out of Indianapolis Colts rookie minicamp of Adonai Mitchell housing a slant route, snagging the ball over the middle, and knifing through defenders all the way to the end zone in a way that has to have Colts fans feeling some things.

Mitchell looks fast and displayed strong hands in his No. 10 jersey, which he chose to represent the number of receivers selected before him in the draft.
The rookie out of Texas was selected with the 52nd overall pick and solidified his draft stock with an impressive showing at the NFL Combine, putting up a 4.34 40-yard dash and a 39.5-inch vertical leap at 6’2″ and 205 pounds.
Mitchell posted 55 catches for 845 yards and 11 touchdowns last year in his only season with the Longhorns after transferring from Georgia, where he spent two seasons.
He adds an explosiveness that this offense lacked last season and he should slot right in alongside Michael Pittman and Josh Downs to form a dynamic trio in the WR room that complements each other well.
Indy has put together an impressive young offense with a lot of different weapons, and if quarterback Anthony Richardson can stay healthy in his sophomore season, this team could legitimately surprise some people.
