CTE has become a huge concern not only for NFL players but also for parents of young children trying to get started in the sport.
Years of research and evidence have shown just how dangerous the game of football can be and the massive toll it takes on the players’ brains after years of banging heads and whatnot.
The league is trying to lower the blows and reduce the risk of concussions with the new helmets and rules.
Even so, chances are that some professional football players have already suffered some degree of brain damage.
According to Jason Kelce, that includes himself.
That’s why, when someone tried to go against the former Philadelphia Eagles great, he pretty much guaranteed that he may have some degree of CTE.
“I mean I can virtually guarantee that I have CTE, all the research would suggest I have some degree of it. I think it is entirely reasonable to assume I have some degree of that pathology,” Kelce said.

Kelce is 36 years old, and he played professional football for 13 years.
Some years ago, LeBron James — who thrived as a football star in high school — claimed that he wouldn’t allow his kids to play football after knowing the big toll it might have on their bodies and brains.
Hopefully, that won’t lead to the beginning of the end of this beautiful sport.
