Broncos fans should be extremely thrilled with first-year quarterback Bo Nix’s opinion and mentality heading into his rookie season in Denver.
The No. 12 overall pick had this to say to the Denver media about moving to Denver and how happy he is to be there:
“This city is incredible. Can’t believe I get to wear a Broncos jersey and go out there and do what so many greats have done before me,” Nix said.
Bo Nix is “super excited” to be a Bronco and fully embracing Colorado, he said at rookie minicamp:

The franchise should be in good hands heading into the future.
Nix is presumably the quarterback of that future.
For now, he will compete with veterans Zach Wilson and Jarrett Stidham for the starting role in 2024.
Wilson was traded from the New York Jets after three disappointing seasons, and Stidham has been with three different teams over the last five years.
It will be one of the most fascinating position battles to witness over the summer in the NFL.
Stidham has been in the league the longest.
Wilson has the most starting experience.
Nix, after starting five collegiate seasons, is the hotshot draft pick looking to turn the tide of the franchise.
What is also fascinating about Nix is that he could fit very well with head coach Sean Payton.
Payton coached another long-time college quarterback in Drew Brees, who would go on to win the Saints a Super Bowl and become one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history.
If Nix could prove to be anything like Brees was under Payton, the Broncos should be back in Super Bowl contention within the next few years.
