The Atlanta Falcons finally have themselves a capable starting quarterback for the first time since the days of Matt Ryan.
In fact, new footage has just been released by Atlanta’s social media team of that capable franchise quarterback in Kirk Cousins.
In the video, Cousins can be seen throwing to his new No. 1 wide receiver in former first-round pick Drake London.

This could very well be the team’s best connection between quarterback and receiver since Ryan and Julio Jones.
Still just 22 years of age, London is coming off of a career year (905 receiving yards) and looking for more in his third NFL season.
Despite Cousins only having one career playoff win in 12 years, he is still a really good signal-caller.
The four-time Pro-Bowler is one of the best regular-season quarterbacks of this era and will have the Falcons in prime position to contend for a Super Bowl.
Thanks to London, Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Pitts, gadget receiver Rondale Moore, former 1,000-yard receiver Darnell Mooney, and 1,400-yard scrimmage back Bijan Robinson, Cousins has some real support around him.
This is arguably the most stacked offense that he has had in his entire career.
That includes the offenses he had in Minnesota.
It is not a stretch to say this team can win the NFC South.
It is also not a stretch to say that this team, if healthy, is a true Super Bowl contender.
As Cousins gets more and more comfortable, the Falcons will undoubtedly get more and more dangerous.
