The NFL recently announced that the Baltimore Ravens will travel to Kansas City to kick off the season against the reigning Super Bowl champs.
It is a rematch of January’s AFC Championship Game that saw the Chiefs go into Baltimore and handle Lamar Jackson and company.
Former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf shared his thoughts on this juicy matchup that will start the season off.
“This is what it’s all about…These were the two best teams in the AFC down the stretch…What a night to open the season with those two teams. Two of the best teams with two of the best quarterbacks in all of football,” Leaf recently told SiriusXM NFL Radio.

As Leaf said, this is going to be a great night.
Two great quarterbacks who have accounted for 4 of the last 6 MVP awards.
Two Super Bowl-winning and future Hall-of-Fame head coaches in Andy Reid and John Harbaugh.
Stars will be all over the field, including Chris Jones, Derrick Henry, Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, Kyle Hamilton, Marlon Humphrey, and so many others.
The Ravens will have revenge on their minds after the Chiefs ended their season on the doorstep of their first Super Bowl appearance in over a decade.
The Detroit Lions did go into Arrowhead in the NFL’s kickoff game last season, and they came out with a win.
Baltimore is hoping to accomplish that same feat.
If they can do that, they have as good a shot as any team to bring home the Lombardi in 2024.
