The Cincinnati Bengals and Seattle Seahawks will square off in one of the most interesting games of Sunday’s slate.
Joe Burrow and company will look to build on that much-needed win vs. the Arizona Cardinals, while the Seahawks will look to prove that they’re no fluke.
Notably, Seahawks star WR D.K. Metcalf addressed Ja’Marr Chase’s skills, and while he praised him as one of the best and most impactful wideouts in the game, he also predicted that rookie CB Devon Witherspoon would get the best of him on Sunday.
And while that was just a way to hype up his teammate ahead of a highly-anticipated matchup, former NFL star Plaxico Burress believes he shouldn’t have poked the bear.
Talking on “The Carton Show,” the former Super Bowl champion stated that he’s now exposed his rookie teammate, throwing him under the bus and putting him under some extra pressure.

Trying to keep up with one of the best route-runners in the game was complicated enough already, and Witherspoon now will also have to deal with those statements.
Notably, there aren’t too many defensive backs that could hold their own against Chase one-on-one, let alone rookies.
Burrow is looking better and more healthy now, and that means trouble for the rest of the league.
We all know how much he likes to feed Chase, and he’s coming off his best game of the season.
Will Witherspoon be able to live up to Metcalf’s comments?
It’s going to be easier said than done.
