Tom Brady’s NFL career might be over, but his place in the spotlight doesn’t seem like it’s going anywhere in the near future.
Brady will be starting a new career as a FOX Sports broadcaster, a job that many fans are excited about.
This will be a chance for fans to hear what Brady is thinking when he watches a football game, giving them insight into the mind of one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history.
Before the broadcasting gig, however, Brady had one final obligation to fulfill.
He recently participated in a Netflix roast, which featured many comedians and public figures, along with several of his former teammates.
While the roast received positive reviews across the board, it appears that Brady didn’t enjoy the event as much as he let on.
He had a lot to say about the roast to Variety, which was shared by Dov Kleiman on Twitter.
According to Kleiman, Brady said, “I liked it when the jokes were about me. I didn’t like the way it affected my kids.” He also called his participation in the roast “naive.”
Tom Brady admits he was “naive” and would NEVER do a Netflix roast again because it heavily affected his kids:
“I liked it when the jokes were about me. I didn’t like the way they affected my kids…It was a good lesson for me as a parent. I’m going to be a better parent because… pic.twitter.com/KMlproSnhr

Brady believes that this roast was potentially damaging to his children and his family as a whole, making it an event that he isn’t particularly proud of.
There were a lot of jokes and digs at Brady throughout the night, some of which were about his relationship with his ex-wife.
It will be interesting to see if Brady has any more comments about this roast and if there is any additional feedback moving forward.
