The New York Giants have been struggling for what feels like a very, very long time.
Despite winning a few Super Bowls over the last 17 years, they have been a fairly mediocre football team at best in the regular season.
Former Giants wide receiver and Super Bowl champion Plaxico Burress had this to say about where he thinks his former team will finish in the NFC East this season:
“I don’t think that Washington finishes last in the division…Unfortunately, I think it’s going to be Big Blue,” Burress told The Carton Show.

Big Blue hasn’t had a 10-win season since 2016.
They haven’t won the NFC East since 2011, which is when they won their second Super Bowl with Eli Manning.
The franchise has made just three playoff appearances in the last 15 years.
After losing Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley to the arch-rival Philadelphia Eagles this offseason, along with the release of fan-favorite Sterling Shepard and the possible retirement of former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller, New York’s roster just isn’t good enough to win right now.
The quarterback situation again seems quite murky.
The team brought in former first-round pick Drew Lock to compete with supposed starter Daniel Jones for his job.
Across the last seven seasons combined, the franchise has a record of 37-77-1.
That is not good enough, especially in one of the biggest markets in the world.
This team looks like it will finish last in the division again, especially if you look at how quickly another rebuilding NFC East team in Washington has revamped their roster.
