After a disastrous end to the 2023 NFL season, in which the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys flamed out in the first round of the NFL playoffs against the upstart Green Bay Packers, America’s Team was thought to be incredibly busy during the offseason in an effort to right the ship ahead of the 2024 campaign.
Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, Dallas hasn’t done much during this offseason to get the team back on track next season, with head coach Mike McCarthy being retained and the team backing star quarterback Dak Prescott while promising to secure his long-term future with the Cowboys.
Although the Cowboys are an incredibly talented team on both sides of the football field and might be a force to be reckoned with once again, Dallas could be headed for disaster once again if things fall apart, with Prescott leading the charge next season.
In the meantime, an unexpected announcement has been made, which might not be the best timing considering how the team failed to live up to expectations last season.
According to Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team, Netflix has announced a 10-part documentary about longtime owner Jerry Jones and the storied franchise.

The Cowboys seem to be following in the footsteps of the Chicago Bulls with “The Last Dance,” and the New England Patriots documentary, which recently aired on Apple TV+ and created quite a stir about the legacies of Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and Robert Kraft.
It’ll be interesting to see what is included in this documentary, especially with the series being 10 episodes, and whether it hurts the franchise or reminds everyone of Dallas’ accomplishments in the Jerry Jones era.
