For the second consecutive season, everybody wants to watch the New York Jets.
This time, however, we hope they manage to stay healthy — and competitive — throughout the course of the season.
The Jets, despite their lack of success, boast a huge fan base around the league, and it had been quite a while since they had this many reasons to be excited about a season.
With that in mind, the league made sure to give the fans what they wanted, giving them six primetime games.
According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp, this is the first time that any NFL team gets six primetime games in the first 11 weeks of the regular season.
the Jets are the FIRST team in NFL history to receive SIX PRIMETIME GAMES in the first 11 weeks of the season:
Week 1 at 49ers (MNF)
Week 3 vs Patriots (TNF)
Week 6 vs Bills (MNF)
Week 7 at Steelers (SNF)
Week 9 vs Texans (TNF)
Week 11 vs Colts (SNF)4 of the 6 are at home

On top of that, four of those games will be at home.
The Jets will visit the San Francisco 49ers for Monday Night Football in Week 1.
Then, they’ll host the New England Patriots for Thursday Night Football in Week 3, followed by a home date with the Buffalo Bills for MNF in Week 6.
The very next week, they’ll visit the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football, with the Houston Texans visiting them a couple of weeks later for another TNF matchup.
Last but not least, they will host Anthony Richardson and the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football in Week 11.
This is far from a surprise, and it’s just what happens when you play in a big market.
Everybody wants a piece of Aaron Rodgers, and if he manages to stay on the field, this team might even have more primetime games later in the season, particularly in the playoffs.
