What a year the Atlanta Falcons could have in 2024 after the moves they’ve made.
The biggest of those moves being the deal to sign four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Kirk Cousins to a four-year, $180 million deal.
They also added a couple of talented wide receivers in gadget player Rondale Moore and former 1,000-yard wide receiver Darnell Mooney.
Those players will team up with the likes of former first-round wide receiver Drake London, stud second-year back Bijan Robinson, and Pro Bowl tight end Kyle Pitts.
Pitts himself is very excited for this new chapter.
While chatting with the team’s official site, he characterized himself as a “super rookie,” via Around The NFL.
“I would say I’m a super rookie. I’m not a rookie-rookie. But we’re all in this new offense, new regime, new schedule. We’re all in this fresh,” Pitts said.

The rookie part comes in for a lot of these Falcons players because they are all learning a new offense.
However, with Pitts, he is one of the best overall athletes in the sport and was able to produce at a Pro Bowl level even with a suspect offense.
Still just 23 years of age, the former All-American at Florida is going to be a big-time player for Cousins, who has played with Pro Bowl tight ends at each of his NFL stops.
He had Jordan Reed in Washington.
He had Kyle Rudolph and T.J. Hockenson with the Minnesota Vikings.
Now, he has a 1,000-yard tight end in Pitts.
Look for him to have a big-time season while still learning this new offense under new head coach Raheem Morris.
