The day of the NFL schedule release always sparks joy and serves as a reminder that we’re almost through the darkest days of the offseason and we have a set date to mark on our calendars and look forward to for the return of football season.
It’s the first time in the offseason that fans can truly start managing expectations for the upcoming season and thinking about how many wins they can rack up, and former QB and current analyst Dan Orlovsky believes that his opinion has changed about one team since the schedule came out.
Orlovsky appeared on The Dan Patrick Show and listed the Miami Dolphins as the team he has changed his opinion about, as he highlighted how difficult their final six games are, which has partly soured him on the team’s prospects.

Orlovsky mentioned that he initially believed Miami could hang around for the early part of the season and kick it into high gear once returning pass rushers Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb come back, but the tough late-season schedule has changed his mind.
Last season left fans little reason to believe in the Dolphins winning games in cold weather or against great teams, as they shrunk in those moments nearly every time.
Miami’s last six games are at the Green Bay Packers, home for the New York Jets, at the Houston Texans, home for the San Francisco 49ers, at the Cleveland Browns, and at the Jets again.
Three of those games could be freezing, and in order for Miami to stop facing criticism like Orlovsky’s, it has to learn how to win those types of games.
