After taking down the San Francisco 49ers in overtime in the Super Bowl, the back-to-back champion Kansas City Chiefs have had a rough NFL offseason, with seemingly nothing but bad news about their players coming out on a weekly basis.
One player that was thought to have a promising NFL career after having a solid rookie season with the Chiefs last season was wide receiver Rashee Rice, who has had his troubles with the law in his first offseason with Kansas City.
Although Rice has had his fair share of problems off the field during this NFL offseason, it seems as though he will be with the team while attending and participating in all activities, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

With Rice getting in trouble multiple times during this offseason thus far, the second-year wide receiver will likely face a lengthy suspension for his actions off the field, which could be as much as missing the first half of the upcoming 2024 NFL season.
Obviously, that’s a costly blow for the Chiefs, who hope to make NFL history this year by becoming the first team in league history to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
It seems as though while Rice awaits his fate, he wants to stay as connected with the team as much as possible while also staying in shape.
Unfortunately for Rice, if he does miss half the regular season during the 2024 campaign, the new wide receivers in town might take the top jobs at the position.
The Chiefs signed veteran Marquise Brown in free agency and drafted Xavier Worthy during the NFL Draft.
