There is a lot of excitement surrounding this year’s NFL rookie class, as it looks to be one of the most talented rookie crops in recent history and possibly of all time.
There are at least three quarterbacks who have the potential to be great — Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, and Drake Maye — as well as three talented wide receivers in Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze.
But as of now, Williams is the heavy favorite to win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, per Pro Football Focus.

Many consider Williams a generational talent, and while some are a bit concerned he could become a disappointment, people generally have high expectations for him.
He put up big numbers at the University of Southern California over the last two seasons, and he is joining a Chicago Bears team that suddenly has the type of weapons it hasn’t had in decades.
DJ Moore has already been a productive wide receiver for them, but they also added six-time Pro Bowl wideout Keenan Allen in free agency and took Odunze with the No. 9 pick in last month’s draft.
Chicago also has a young and promising defense that is led by pass rusher Montez Sweat, who they acquired from the Washington Commanders in a midseason trade last fall.
The long-suffering Bears haven’t had a true franchise quarterback since Sid Luckman in the 1940s — even when they won the Super Bowl championship during that historic 1985 season, they had Jim McMahon, who ended his 15-year career with just one Pro Bowl selection, under center.
This could very well be the long-awaited watershed moment for the Bears and their devoted fans if Williams lives up to the hype and claims the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
