The Dallas Cowboys have struggled to become true Super contenders ever since the mid-90s.
They have not made it to the NFC Championship Game since 1995.
Every year, they have the same aspirations and every year, their hopes get dashed.
Recently, head coach Mike McCarthy has led the Cowboys to three consecutive 12-win seasons.
However, they have won just one playoff game in that stretch.
One of McCarthy’s former players in Green Bay in Greg Jennings appeared on “Up & Adams” to chat about what the problem is with the Cowboys.
“This dark cloud that has loomed over the Dallas Cowboys has been there with every coach beyond Jimmy (Johnson) and Barry Switzer…When they step on that field in the postseason, you better believe they are going to be reminded over and over all week leading up to the game of what they have yet been able to do,” Jennings said.

He has a very real point.
Dallas has won just four playoff games since the year 2000.
Like Jennings said, it’s not a coaching issue.
It’s just a weird, dark cloud that has been hanging over the team.
McCarthy is a good coach.
Jason Garrett was a fine coach.
Bill Parcells and Wade Phillips took the team to the playoffs too.
The franchise generally has good quarterback play and a great roster each year.
But in the biggest moments, they fail to rise above their opponent.
